I’M STILL HERE! – WWW: February 6th

WWW Wednesday

The countdown is real right now. Maybe this will be the final WWW-post for a while, maybe I’ll be back next week for another one. Who knows at this point? I sure don’t!
In any case, I do have a lot of time for reading right now – if I’m not sleeping, that is. Which is why I’m sooo happy with the books I read! Not to mention I finally got around to reading A Curse So Dark and Lonely, one of my most anticipated releases. Spoiler? LOVED IT. Although I do still have to write my review but.. oh well.

Let’s take a look at the other books I read and am reading!

As always, covers link back to the Goodreads-page, so feel free to check them out!

Current read

My Kinda Kisses (Summer Sisters #1)The Prince and the Dressmaker

I was going to pick up The Wicked King, but was too lazy to go get my copy at my desk – oops – so ended with my Kindle and then a graphic novel. I’m trying to get through some of my ebooks, which is why I started My Kinda Kisses – really liking it so far, especially since it’s not a story where the guy has commitment issues. Truly, most of those steamy books are kind of like that, aren’t they? Or is that just me?

Finished reading

Thompson & Sons: Ride Baby Ride / Rocky Ride (Thompson & Sons, #1-2)Escaping from Houdini (Stalking Jack the Ripper, #3)New Starts and Cherry Tarts at the Cosy Kettle: A heartwarming, laugh out loud romantic comedySeduction Games (Game for Cookies, #1)A Curse So Dark and Lonely (A Curse So Dark and Lonely, #1)

And look at this! Finished two ebooks, one eARC and two finished copies – yay me! I pretty much enjoyed all of them, but A Curse So Dark and Lonely beats them easily. I’m so happy with that one living up to my expectations. I’m pretty much claiming Brigid Kemmerer as one of my all-time favorite authors at this point.

Reading next

The Wicked King (The Folk of the Air, #2)

I’m flying through my current reads, and since I’m sitting at my desk right now I have no excuse to not pick up The Wicked King next. So.. Yup! After The Wicked King, I’ll probably pick one of my ARC’s – either Lovestruck or And We Call It Love, I think. Or maybe one of the other fantasy novels on my TBR.

ARC overview

A Pack of Blood and LiesLovestruckAnd We Call It LoveInternmentFix Her Up

One new addition – Fix Her Up by Tessa Bailey! I was surprised to say the least, since Edelweiss usually lets me down but.. not this time apparently? Yay!

Who’s your all-time favorite author? What book convinced you?
Do they have anything releasing soon or did they just release a new book?
What’s your current read?

If you have a WWW-post of your own, feel free to leave it in the comments!

  1. The date approaches!! 😀 😀

Is it just me, or is writing a review for an amazing read the worst? I’m happy you liked A Curse so Dark and Lonely! Also, reading something in the place of another book because you don’t want to get up — I relate. Thank goodness for Kindle :’)

  2. AHHHHH! I only just heard about the premise behind A Curse So Dark and Lonely and now I really want to read it! It is literally taking me all my strength NOT to check it out at the library (it is LITERALLY sitting two shelves away from me as I write this).

Getting close huh?!? That is so exciting! I hope all goes well :]

    1. I really hope you got to read it by now, haha!

All went well! Which is why.. I’m replying to comments over a month late. It’s taking some getting used to – as is expected – but I’m enjoying it so, so much. 😀

    2. That is sooooo wonderful :] I am really really glad things are well and everyone is healthy and happy :]

I haven’t had the chance to read it yet, BUT I did cave and ended up buying it. B&N had some kind of coupon where I got one New Release for like 40% off or something so I only paid like 10$ for it :]
