I've read and loved a bunch of C.C. Hunter's older work - including the Shadow Falls-series and This Heart of Mine - which I actually reviewed earlier this year! To say Hunter has a special place in my bookworm-heart is.. an understatement? I simply can't help but get all enthusiastic the moment I hear there's something new being released in the future and.. it was no different this time around.

SO CUTE AND RELATEABLE AND I LOVE IT ~ The Upside of Unrequited by Becky Albertalli
I honestly cannot believe I waited this long to read The Upside of Unrequited. It's not like I didn't want to read it, I simply didn't get around to it? Other books kept distracting me and now I'm blaming all those books for keeping me from this precious, little gem. I fell in love, you guys.
REVIEWS ON 3 SHORT BOOKS ~ The Last Train, Fawn & A Holiday by Gaslight
I read some short books lately, so I decided to do another bunch of mini reviews! Here are my short reviews on The Last Train, Fawn and A Holiday by Gaslight!
STEAMY MINI-REVIEWS ~ Oops, I caved? [Protecting Our Virgin, Gretel and Merry Inkmas]
It's a fact I'm not afraid to dwell in different genres than YA contemporary and fantasy, but it's not often I actually dive into anything smut-ish or steamy. Now that I think about it.. It's usually around December I start dwelling into those genres? Anyway. Since those novels are often short ones, I decided to do some mini-reviews!
TORTURED ARTISTS BATTLING THEIR PASTS ~ Rock Rebel by Tara Leigh
I'm a sucker for musicians, let alone the rock-kind. For some reason, those always give me the bad boy vibes I can hardly ever say no to. Guess I don't even have to explain why I couldn't say no to this cover / novel either, right?
GET YOUR BAKING GROOVE ON ~ The Art of Baking Blind by Sarah Vaughan
I've had this one on my TBR for quite some time now and the reason I got a copy should be fairly clear to anyone knowing me. I'm a sucker for baking - even though it's been a while since I made cupcakes! A book like this? With a baking competition mentioned? Consider me done for!
EVEN DEATH HAS A HEART ~ The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
I have finally done it! After numerous people telling me I should definitely read The Book Thief, I actually decided to listen and pick it up. I've heard so many good things about it, so to say my expectations were high.. Is probably an understatement? No, not true. I went in expecting nothing because.. me and reading historical fiction? Not that great of a combination..
