I READ SO MUCH AND I AM SO PROUD – WWW: September 12th

WWW Wednesday

It’s been an AMAZING reading week – even if I do say so myself. I kicked a ton of books off my TBR – and current reads for that matter, yay me! – and am feeling so motivated to read more, more, more!
I cleaned pretty much the entire Sunday as well, which makes for a calm mind now too. Can’t help but feel having a clean home helps me staying sane. Especially with my hectic life right now. I’m so looking forward for my week off at the end of October. Bubble bath, here I come, haha!

Anyway! I’m talking nonsense while I should be talking about my.. reading!

As always, covers link back to the Goodreads-page, so feel free to check them out!

Current read

I Do Not Trust YouBatman: Nightwalker (DC Icons, #2)

LI’m so happy with this! The four same books were on my currently reading for two weeks in a row and I.. well.. used this post as a motivation to change that, hah.
I’m currently reading I Do Not Trust You – which is an ARC I should’ve already read, oops – and I’m liking all the mythology but.. I’m having some issues with the love-aspect / second character. We’ll see how it goes. I still have about 65% to go.
As for Batman; I’m not too far in yet and right now I’m kind of missing some.. direction for this story to go in?

Finished reading

The Subtle Knife (His Dark Materials, #2)Library of Souls (Miss Peregrine's Peculiar Children, #3)Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (Harry Potter, #6)Twice Dead (The Necromancer's Song, #1)Hunting Prince Dracula (Stalking Jack the Ripper, #2)

I FINISHED ALL THESE BOOKS AND I AM SO FREAKING PROUD OF MYSELF.
Sequel September is AWESOME. Just the thought of having kicked four sequels off my TBR in one week!

Reading next

Yup, still haven’t started The Lion Tamer Who Lost. Actually, I did try starting it, but I was in the mood for fantasy so I put it aside and picked up Hunting Prince Dracula instead? Let’s hope I get to it this week! Oh, and I might start Catwoman as well. And maybe Doctor Sleep? We’ll see!

The Lion Tamer Who LostCatwoman: Soulstealer (DC Icons, #3)Doctor Sleep (The Shining, #2)

ARC overview

My Whole TruthImber (Thanatos Trilogy #1)Oliver and Erica: When Friends become LoversThe Lion Tamer Who Lost

Have you read any of the books I finished this week?
What did you think of them?
What book do you really, really want to read next?

  1. Oooooh… “I Do Not Trust You” looks really good! And I need to read the Miss Peregrine books – they look so good! And the Stalking Jack the Ripper books!! I’m rather jealous you had time to read so much over the week!!! GOALS.

    1. I Do Not Trust You was.. somewhere in between for me, hah. I liked all the mythology in the book! Really need to get my thoughts together so I can write my review on it.
Haha; a lot of time to read, yes. But I have to admit.. I barely did any chores / cleaning so there’s that. :’)

    1. Thank you!!
I’m going to pick up another ARC first, because my brain is telling me I should. We’ll see after that, hah!

Ooh, thanks for the link! I always try and go back to people’s post when they’ve left a comment, but it’s easier when they copy the link in their comment, haha. [Okay, maybe I’m lazy..]

    2. Ahhh, that makes sense! Well, I hope you enjoy Catwoman when you get to it! 🙂

(And I’m so glad you appreciated the link! I always worry that I’m being obnoxious when I leave a link to my blog in a comment)

    3. I’ve read two books since and I still haven’t picked up Catwoman.. Curse me and my mood reading sometimes, hah!

Honestly, don’t feel like that! When it’s a meme, I feel people are most definitely allowed to leave links to their own posts. The whole point of memes is commenting on other people’s posts after all!

    1. Rightt?!!

I REALLY LIKED IT. I absolutely loved the different worlds – and how the icons on the pages show which one you’re in?! I did feel like things got wrapped up extremely.. easily at the end of the book though, haha. Could’ve been me. I expected more of a struggle, to be honest. 😛
