2019 READING CHALLENGES – Trying to figure out how to tackle 2019 in reading
If there's one thing I love about one year ending and a new one beginning, it's all the possibilities of setting goals, finding challenges and compiling lists of things we want to achieve during the next year. I figured I can't possibly be on my own in that one, since I know we all love reading challenges. Not to mention setting ourselves reading goals to challenge ourselves throughout the year! So here I am.. setting some goals / challenges!
DISCUSSION ~ How do you decide on YEARLY READING GOALS?
We all know the drill by now, since it's something that's so "general" and.. world-wide known: setting yearly goals whenever the start of a new year is approaching. Those goals can include anything at all, but.. for us specifically? There's always some kind of reading goal involved. Reading goals that remain goals for a while, but eventually turn into a challenge because.. we always, always need to catch up on them. Then, after a while, the pressure comes into the mix because we really want to succeed and be able to say "I did it!" at the end of the year. But is it really all that realistic to put up a yearly goal without knowing what's going to happen throughout the year?

I didn't even have a third of the stuff I have now and - yup - we're moving again!

A while back, I felt guilty for not having read two of my ARC's and having pre-ordered a certain book. It made me think about peer pressure and how it's definitely present in our book community. So I wanted to take a closer look at just that: ways peer pressure might sneak into our bookish lives.
EVALUATE YOUR LIFE-DAY – Where it’s time to face the truth about our life goals.
I always claimed that I'd have achieved this and this and that before 25. Not because I had to, but because I thought I simply would've. I was wrong, so wrong. To me, every birthday is another reminder of how life gets in your way of reaching the things you want. Not necessarily in a bad way, but your expectations are always so different compared to reality. With today being Evaluate Your Life-day, I thought it a good idea to do just that.
MENTAL HEALTH DAY: How much care do you put in yourself?
I often come across posts where bloggers are telling their followers about taking a step back and focusing on themselves, planning some self-care of even talking about the self-care routines that help them in the long run. Since today's World Mental Health Day, and since I too realized how important self-care is, I thought it the perfect time to share all the hints, tips and tricks I figured out for myself.
