I am messing up, but that was totally expected so whatever? It’s like.. even the smallest rule I set [like, for example, only read eARCs to get through my pile] I need to break. As such I.. did finish an ARC, but am now reading my second physical read [which is most definitely not an ARC].
Anyway – more on that later in this post. First I want to make note of a very huge, important evolution in Jamie’s life and.. it’s life-changing for all of us. Done with the crawling kid. Jamie walks like a madman. There’s no stopping him and his chubby, wiggly butt anymore. He’s so cute though.
Anyway, reading updaaaaate.
As always, covers link back to the Goodreads-page, so feel free to check them out!
I mentioned the physical books I started picking up, right? Well, even better! They’re Dutch! Het Verlaten Huis [The Abandoned House] is the second book in a young adult thriller series by Sandra J. Paul. I have to say.. It feels more like middle grade horror to me but whatever..
The second one I’m currently reading is actually an eARC – yay! Not all is lost! Although I put it aside because one of my finished reads was set at a school and had a young character and this eARC.. As well.. It got a bit confusing, haha. Anyway, since the cover isn’t on Goodreads yet, the eARC I’m reading is School for Nobodies by Susie Bower. Be sure to click the book-thingie to go to its Goodreads-page!
I finished The Damned and looooved it again! I know opinions differ when it comes to the first book, The Beautiful, but I feel like The Damned gave me more plot-wise so.. Maybe people will end up loving it even after the first book might not have been there thing? I hope?
The second book I finished isĀ De Duistere School [The Dark School], the first book in that ya thriller series I just mentioned. Although, again, I feel it’s more of a middle grade horror-ish kind of thing, haha.
It’s still Moody May but let’s be real here. The chances of me picking up another eARC next are small? I really should though. I mean.. Look at that.. And I got approved for more – which I’ll tell you all about on Friday!
Are you sticking to your TBR?
Also – what’s THE comfort food you love?
I’m definitely for you reading Wicked as you Wish because it looks amazing. And maybe Feathertide. š
But hey, you read what you wanna read and what you feel like it. Don’t pressure yourself too much. š
