This week is an eventful one, so I’m not sure whether I’ll be able to read a lot. But, to give you guys some clue as to what’s been going on – here’s a short summary:
Two days of work, preparations for Jamie’s first birthday party – how even?! -, picking up Jamie’s absolutely superb cake of which I don’t know how it looks yet but I just know it’ll be amazing! And then there’s.. Valentine’s Day? Which we aren’t celebrating per se, but we are using it as an excuse to have a night away from home, haha. Especially the birthday preparations are taking up a lot of time though!
Anyway, that’s it for “real life”-stuff. On to the books I’m reading, finished and will be reading soon-ish!

My current reads seem to consistently consist of an ebook, physical book and audiobook lately so.. Let’s try and keep it that way, I guess? Belle Révolte is the eARC I’m reading and.. not really enjoying? I’m missing some depth in the characters, can’t make a lot of sense of the politics and overall feel as if it isn’t for me. People said that changes further in the book though, so I’m trying to push through a bit more in hopes of the story picking up!
Supernova is the physical book I’m reading. I signed up to “Go Big or Go Home” so I better get started on those six big books! This is the first of them and a series finale, so I’m.. ready? I think? I hope?
Audiobook-wise, I decided to reread Caraval. Mainly because Finale‘s been eyeing me for a while now but I want to refresh my memory by rereading the first two books. Or listening to them in this case. So far, so good!
I finished one ARC – The Two Lives of Lydia Bird – which I’ll be writing my review for today – I hope. I have thoughts and feelings so let’s hope I get those put into words. Then.. The Queen of Nothing.. Holly Black did it again! Also hoping to write my review for that one later today. Aaaand.. Same for To Be Honest, the audiobook I listened to this past week. Honestly, I have so many thoughts and feelings regarding all three these books.. I just don’t know where to start. Let’s hope I figure it out within the next two hours or those reviews will be mes-sy.
I’m slowly making some progress on my ARC’s, so I’m still going to try and read more of those! As for physical books, I’m picking up whatever fits my mood so we’ll see about that. I’m not sure about finishing Supernova before next week’s WWW-post so we’ll see!

I’m glad the e-book/physical book/audiobook balance is working for you right now; that’s awesome! And…are we going to get to see pictures of Jamie’s awesome birthday cake? If not, that’s fine, but you’ve got me curious about it now. Also, happy birthday to the little one. Wow, I can’t believe it’s been a year already.
