It’s time for my second Waterstones Brussels-spotlight! On October 20th, you have the chance to meet the authors of How to live vegan and get your copy signed as well! I’m not vegan myself, but I can see how this book might be interesting for whomever interested in trying to live more plant-based.
If you’re afraid you’ll forget about the event, be sure to save it on Facebook, put yourself as interested – or even better, as present – and definitely let me know all about it afterwards!
Oh, thank you for introducing me to this book. My older girl (she’s 19) went vegetarian a few years ago and is trying to work her way towards being completely vegan. I”ll have to get this for her. My other girl (she’s 17) eats as much plant-based as she can, but tends to have low iron levels so she still eats meat.
And that was probably more than you wanted to know. Hahaha.

Haha, that’s okay! I think it’s awesome to hear they’re so focused on what they eat, to be honest! I’m not vegetarian or vegan, but I do try eating something non-meat every once in a while. I’m too much of a meat-lover to give it up entirely, but I want to try and put some more healthy and environment-friendly options in our diet!

I agree, and I know it’s better for their health so I support it as much as I can. My husband is a huge meat eater (and hates 98.7% of all vegetables) but I could easily go without a couple times a week. Baby steps, right? Change your habits a little at a time and they stick better. 🙂
