I’m nuts, bonkers, crazy. Whatever you want to call it. I’m it. Why? Because I have this ridiculous urge to participate in Blogtober. Knowing I haven’t been able to post consistently for months? Apparently that isn’t stopping me and my stupid brain at all! I know I’m going to fail but.. that doesn’t mean I won’t have fun trying not to, right? In any case, this is the first post of Blogtober! And what better way to start the month than with a TBR? [Shout-out to Anniek and Hâf for creating a posting challenge, which I’ll be basing my posts on!]
Exactly, no better way! So let’s take a look at the spooky books I’d like to read. [I’m only mentioning my owned TBR books because.. I’m still doing Owntober, okay. If you want more information on that challenge, just click here and read all about it!]
SPOOKY, OWNED BOOKS I REALLY WANT TO READ
There are two books I’d like to read during October. First off, I really want to dive into City of Ghosts’ sequel, Tunnel of Bones. I read and loved the first book and there doesn’t seem to be a better time to read the sequel than.. now?
I’m also adding Truth or Dance to my small TBR. It’s a Dutch book and, actually, the first Dutch book I’ll be reading since years. I have some behind the scenes-work going on blog-wise and this book is.. part of it? It’s a thriller, so I’m counting it as “spooky”, haha.
You should check out my Atumn TBR.

Seems like classics! I once started Dracula but I couldn’t get into it so put it aside, haha.

Yeah I’ve never read it so I don’t know what it will be like. 🙂

My Halloween book this year is It. I loved the film, but it’s so huge it might be the only scary book I get round to this month!

I read that beast last year and.. I still struggle with certain events near the end of the book, haha. I haven’t picked up anything King ever since. :’)

Okay, post is up. Yay! 🎉🎉🎉
Of course this morning I went and took a book with me that is NOT on the book pile I wanted to read. But it’s City of Ghosts and that’s a fitting read for October, isn’t it? 😅

I have Tunnel of bones on my tbr too, wondering if you’d like to buddy read? ^_^

I honestly don’t have the time for buddy reads like now.. My life is all over the place since my little boy is in the hospital.. 😦 [Also the reason for my late reply, so sorry!]

You’ve got this. Even if you don’t complete the challenge, it’s not a fail. Consider it a way of getting back into the habit of blogging?
Okay, and now I’m going to check out that link you posted above and see if I can participate as well. 🙂

I just finished a spooky one, two days ago.. and I get really afraid of horror things, so I am gonna pass reading one again for sometime now..
All the best to you for your challenge.

Haha! Honestly, the really spooky ones make me go off horror for a while as well. But that just means the author did their job, right? 😛

GAHH. So stupid I forgot to take that one with me to the hospital. Hopefully I’ll remember to take it with me should I go home for a couple of hours..
