Everyone knows! The time for N.E.W.T.’s is almost upon us! At least, for all of you. For me? Well. As the title of this post states, I’m doing it my way this time. Mainly because I really want to make an effort in getting my N.E.W.T.’s and I want an honest chance to do so. Knowing I’ll start working again in one and a half week [feel my pain and tears, people..].. Pretty much means I’ll be spent by the time August comes around. I’ll be damned if I let that stop me from getting at least some N.E.W.T.’s so I decided to do it for two months instead! I’m even contemplating doing it three months simply because I love reading according to prompts given? And I managed to find books for every single prompt pretty easily?
Since there are a whole lot of subjects with three prompts each, this means I’ll have plenty of reading options which is perfect! Like.. I’ve been mood-reading for months now so at least I can somewhat continue doing so, right? Anyway! Let’s take a look at my humongous TBR for July and August! A huge shout-out to Waterstones Brussels for being so, so kind as to give me some of their newer (but especially) older ARC’s that are found on this TBR.

Good luck with getting your NEWTS.

It’s a good idea to do it over several months! I think I might try two months too, although I’m not that impressed with the prompt list this time 😀 Some of it is pretty limiting, and there’s two “friend’s favourite book” ones?

You’re right about that! Although I don’t really find it all that annoying since I easily found books on my TBR for all prompts, haha. Guess that makes it less important how limiting they are. 😛

Love the varied selection, and I’m adding some of these to my TBR pile (which is long since I read in small snippets of time). The only one I have read so far is The Language of Thorns and I enjoyed it.

Right? I’m doing way worse than I expected though. I thought I’d at least have five ticked off by now but I think I’m at three or something.. Oops..

Wow, talk about prepared and setting yourself up in the best situation for you! I made a few notes for mine, but have yet to put anything into stone. Enjoy all the lovely books over the next two months!

I hope your TBR came together by now! Setting your TBR into stone is always a bad thing to do, I think? I don’t know. I tend to switch out books as I’m going every single time. 😛

Yes, I think I figured out my TBR. I end up switching things out too so I don’t hold myself too much to what past me wanted to read. lol

Understandable! I sometimes make a list with “second options” as well, just in case I’m totally not feeling a certain book on my TBR anymore, haha.
