As per usual lately, this post is a bit late but I didn’t have time to unwrap my computer yesterday. Most of you know we’ve moved into our house recently. On Monday, the electrician started redoing all our electricity which means our furniture is mostly wrapped up in plastic – including my books and computer. Or at least the books I’ve unboxed – which.. isn’t a lot of them really. Since we went to my boyfriend’s grandmother’s funeral yesterday, I honestly wasn’t in the mood to unwrap everything and all that so.. here we are.
One day late, but it’s still the same as what I would’ve updated on the day itself so there’s that, right?
As always, covers link back to the Goodreads-page, so feel free to check them out!
Remember that one ARC I kept in my ARC overview for MONTHS? It’s finally happening! I’m reading it! I’m even refusing to pick up anything else until I’ve finished it, haha!
I did well! To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before was my first January Jam Jar-pick so I officially “succeeded” at my monthly challenge already, yay! Then I caught up on two ARC’s, The Gilded Wolves and All the Lonely People. The latter I already posted my review of on Monday and my review for The Gilded Wolves will be up tomorrow – if I remember correctly!
I pulled two books from my jar at the start of January, but I still haven’t started my second one yet. The moment I finish Imber, you can be sure I’m picking up Godsgrave! I’ve had it in my backpack all week now, but I’m adamant on finishing my current read first, haha.
What are you reading right now?
Are you in the mood for a specific genre lately? Which one?
Have you already found a new favorite this year?
If you have a WWW-post of your own, feel free to leave it in the comments!
I… haven’t read anything since January 1. CRYING LOUDLY

Yikes! I hope that changes soon! On the other hand, forcing yourself to read isn’t all that great either so maybe a break is what your brain needs right now?

Dark and gory is exactly what I’m expecting to get, haha! Hopefully I can start it today or tomorrow. 😀

It sounds like you have so much going on and none of it fun – I’m impressed that you even participated this week! There have been many times I have just waited – so kudos to you! I have seen The Gilded Wolves everywhere and, of course, I read the Boys Trilogy. Which of the two did you like better?

Honestly, my blog is like *the* escape from my real life so I’m happy I have something to turn to when things are hectic and all over the place. It’s one thing where I’ll always be in control in any case. 🙂
Definitely To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before! But that’s mainly due to my contemporary mood and not overly liking how The Gilded Wolves ended. Too predictable and a twist I didn’t want to see, happened anyway, haha.

I’ve started on my second January Jam Jar pick and it’s Pretty Broken Girl by Jeana E. Mann I think I’m almost halfway through it already. I’m also read Pet Sematary by Stephen King and I’m really enjoying it so far. Sorry to hear about you boyfriends grandmother!!

Oh, the synopsis of that one sounds good! And like a quick read too – but that’s the case with most romances, isn’t it?
I still can’t find the motivation to pick up a King-novel after my IT-experience, haha.
Thank you! He’s doing pretty well considering. Guess it helps they’ve seen it coming for a while now. 🙂

It is a pretty quick read. It’s taking me a little longer to get through it because I am reading another book at the same time. I joined Janels Stephen King readalong which is what motivates me to read his books.
