It’s almost here and I’m so pumped! Friday, people! It starts on FRIDAY! I’ve been looking forward to this read-a-thon ever since Destiny and I came up with the idea so.. you can imagine how long that’s been.. Yup, almost.. two months?! Longer than that?! Aaah!
Anyway! It’s time to share my TBR for the Short-a-thon! If you have no clue what I’m talking about, I suggest you check out my original post but in short: we’re reading the shortest books on our TBR’s for ten days! Yay!
I started with checking Goodreads to find out what the shortest books on my TBR actually are. I do have some shorter books on my Kindle, but I’m not counting those because.. just because. Besides, when I was packing my books for the move, I actually kept some books that looked way thinner than others separate. So now I feel even more like I should read those! As such, this is my entire stack of reads for the Short-A-Thon!
I’m not saying I’ll be reading them all but.. I can definitely try? Who am I kidding. That so isn’t going to happen but at least I’ll give my number of books read a final boost, haha! I really want to focus on my physical books but I might pick up one of the books on my eTBR-shelf as well when I feel like switching formats for a bit.
What are some of the shortest books on your TBR?
Are you participating in the Short-a-thon?
Don’t forget to follow @shortathon on Twitter if you are!
Wait, how short is Frankenstein?? I always thought it was medium-length (although I think a large part of that is me judging the small font).
I’M SO EXCITED FOR THIS THOOOUUGHH. I’m trying to finish up a few arcs before this starts so catch me reading like a madwoman.

Well.. My copy is SO THIN but now I’m kind of scared to open it and look at how tiny the font is? I have this stinking feeling it’s way tinier than I’m expecting it to be.. ._.
SAME HERE. I want to finish Nevernight but my life is SO HECTIC all of a sudden so I don’t know if I’ll finish it in tiiime. D:

I hope it’s not super tiny! I’m hoping for you!! Comparing ebooks to physical copies should be a thing.
You can do it!!

Ha, you don’t even want to know how often I struggle with the exact same thing and it’s getting worse every day!

You can blame that on pregnancy brain.

I only have one short book and that Elevation by Stephen King.

One book is still enough to say you’d join though. Just saying. 😀

I think if Watching Glass Shatter is on your TBR then we REALLY have different definitions of short books 😀 it’s kind of funny. Two of my currently reading books are under 200 so I want to finish those, but even those two are on the longer end of my short-a-thon TBR.

Ooh, no we don’t! I know those aren’t really “short books” but they ARE the shortest ones I own, so.. 😛 I simply don’t have really short books on my TBR – which is a pity with this read-a-thon but still!

Good luck! I have a stack of manga I might dive into for this.

Ooh, awesome! Those definitely count as short reads – even the big ones are quick reads after all. 😀

Exactly! And I have a handful of cozies and romances that should go quick as well. Finally have my post up, too:

Romances are definitely quick reads most of the time! Added you to the list of participants. 😀

They are, especially since I’m drawn more to the romantic suspense type, so the mystery helps push it along quicker. 🙂 Thank you!
