Remember November 2018

Remember November

I absolutely loved this challenge last year – sue me for loving my own idea – so I couldn’t not let it come back! Especially since I noticed it helped a lot of people reaching some of their goals before the year was over!

Of course I’m talking about Remember November – the challenge where you remember all those goals you set yourself at the start of the year and focus on reaching them! Whether it’s a general goal, a specific bingo sheet or maybe a set TBR – those are what we’re going to focus on!

I remember my huge Books & Munches Reading Challenge, so I’m definitely going to focus on the entire thing during November. I have my work cut out for me, that’s for sure. Especially since it’s a combination of a whole lot of challenges and trying not to overload on books I have to read, but we’ll see how it goes!

Rules
◊ Post a blogpost saying you’ll be joining me trying to reach all those goals and challenges we committed ourselves to throughout the year.
◊ Share your list of challenges, goals and whatnot and state what you’re going to try and reach / tick off during this month’s read-a-thon.
◊ If you’re sharing your updates on social media, use #RemNovember so we can follow up on each other!

Important
It isn’t necessary to dedicate the whole month to my monthly challenges.
Our TBR’s are all through the roof so it can already be a challenge to read only one or two books that fit this month’s challenge. You can still join then! The more the merrier!
Remember, it doesn’t matter how much you read. As long as you have fun reading.
And as long as we can tackle our TBR’s, bit by bit.

  1. I’m in for this one! I have 5 prompts for the Popsugar reading challenge to complete and I am at 83/100 books for my Goodreads reading challenge. I just hope the holidays don’t get in the way of me completing these challenges.

  2. I swore I had already replied to this, but nope. Oops! I’ll be posting a TBR later this week. 😀 I’m participating in a few readathons in November and I’m hoping it’ll motivate me to move AWAY from review copies a little bit!

  3. I didn’t make any reading goals at the beginning of the year, but I am on track for my Goodreads goal that I made in the middle of the year. I didn’t make any writing goals either.

Good luck with finishing strong with your goals though!

  4. Let’s see… I have two yearly reading challenges I haven’t finished (even though I’m close): I have 6 prompts left for Around the Year in 52 Books (out of 52) and 5 prompts left for the Lesbian Book Bingo. I’m also 10 books away from completing my Goodreads challenge (that I kept raising during the year, but it’s not likely I’ll raise it again).

I’m also doing Fox and Fairytales’s Mythoton in November (a readathon with prompts from Greek mythology) sooo I’ll need to be clever and maybe try to pick books that can fit several challenges at once.

That being said, I love your own reading challenge goals and I can’t wait to see how you do on them!

    1. That’s a lot of challenges! Good luck with those! 😀

Ooh, I’m going to look into that readathon. Maybe I’ll figure something out as well. I love using books to fit multiple challenges. It’s a challenge of its own and, in a way, a fascinating puzzle to solve, haha.

Thank you! Good luck with yours!

    2. In a summer month I’d have no trouble reading that much, but I’ve been struggling since uni started again 😦

      It’s definitely like a puzzle! 😀

    1. Happy to hear others are in the same boat as me. It’s very motivating for me to have a few reading challenges. It usually broadens my reading base and turns me on to more authors.

    2. Exactly, I’m the same way. Sometimes I just don’t know what to read next because there are so many options and having some reading challenges definitely helps me there and with broadening my reading on top of that. 🙂

    1. Same here. I signed up for it and I still have the badge on my overview but.. I haven’t kept track of it at all. Don’t really care though; I know I read older books so I’m fine with it. Won’t be joining next year. 🙂

    2. I won’t be joining next year either. I did it last year and thought this year would be different. And everything is just the same as it was last year.

  5. I’m definitely going to be joining in. I’m also thinking about doing my own challenge that I thought of the other day but I haven’t decided yet because I am also participating in a month long readathon where we will be reading 4 books.

    1. Nothing crazy I feel like it’s kind of dumb but it’s something I’ve been wanting to do anyways. I’m calling it NicholasNovember. Basically I want to read all (as many as I can) of the books by Nicholas Sparks that I have yet to read.
