It’s weird. Last week I was all “I’ll probably blog less and this and that will change” and ever since.. I’ve been prepping and scheduling posts like a maniac? I finally got to put the final touches to my entire review-backlog – prepare yourselves for those coming your way! – simply because I’m not adding munches anymore and it’s such. a. relief. I also decided to participate in Blogtober – so far so good!
Who knows – I just might keep this up again?
Anyway, you’re not here for that! Let’s see how my reading has gone this week!
As always, covers link back to the Goodreads-page, so feel free to check them out!
Let’s just all laugh real loud at this because my current reads have not changed at all! And not for lack of trying either! I’ve been reading in all these books, I simply haven’t finished any.. yet..
On the upside, I did read these two! Love Letters definitely was a fun read. With the entire literary festival woven throughout the story, this was bound to be a winner for me and it was.
Although it was a bit slow at times, but still!
As for Romeo and Juliet.. Let’s just say I suddenly had this weird need to tick off one of the shorter books on my TBR so I did just that?
Okay, so The Lion Tamer who Lost has been on here for quite some time now, but I do need to read it soon so it’s stuck a little while longer! Apart from that, I’m hoping to read Hunting Prince Dracula next. That is, if I can ever get my current reads empty again.. *fingers crossed.*
I’ve got an e-ARC of Twice Dead. How are you liking it?

I ended up feeling “meh” and “okay” about it. I wasn’t sold on the whole plot thing and.. it sometimes felt all over the place with all the politic stuff going on. But honestly.. I have to admit I’ve been ridiculously distracted lately and that might’ve had some influence on my reading experience as well. 🙂 Hopefully you’ll like it better!

I’ve been reading a darker shade of magic for over a week now but I don’t mind because it’s so good and I like taking my time 😍 p.s. I loved the caption ‘I finished books but still have the same ones on my currently reading shelf, magic?’ 😂🤗🤗

Oooh. Skies, I’m really looking forward to starting the series myself but I need to finish some others first, haha.
It does feel like magic! Wicked magic! But, right now, I’m happy to announce I’ve finished two of my current reads already SO THERE IS MAGICAL PROGRESS, PEOPLE. 😂

😂😂 yes, you go girl! And definitely pick up a darker shade Of magic when you’ve cut down on series ( I definitely know that feeling) because I think it’s a really good book so far 🤗🤗

I’m not going to laugh because, more often than not, that is exactly what happens to my ‘currently reading’ list.

I absolutely hate when it happens, to be honest. Simply because it seems like there’s always at least one book eternally stuck on my current reads.. :’)

I’m stuck on Lifelike. I love it but don’t want it to end yet 😭

I’ve heard Kristoff’s reputation and that’s the EXACT reason why I haven’t picked up Nevernight yet. Or Lifelike. :’)

I understand why now. I just finished it, and I’m not sure if I’m in a reading slump or not. 🤦🏻♀️
