Future Me Tag

Tag - Award

I’ve been tagged by Adrienne @ Darque Dreamer Reads for this tag ages ago, so I guess it’s finally time to… actually do it? Time to get to know me a bit better!

As you might now, I’m in Scotland right now so it might take me a bit to get back to all of you! And let’s hope I get back with a.. small haul? I really shouldn’t be buying more books but we’ll see… Also, I don’t know if I’ll be able to post my WWW Wednesday-post this week as I’ll be.. out of the country? And I have no clue whether or not I’ll have time to edit and upload it. Anyway!

THE QUESTIONS

What do you want your life to look like over ten years?

In ten years, I’ll be 35 so I’d definitely want to live in my own house – with a special room designed for all my books, doh – with my current boyfriend. I love my job today and I hope I’ll still have a job I love then. Whether it’s the same or not, I don’t really care. As long as I love what I’m doing, it’s fine by me. I’m also hoping for a dog. Seriously, give me a dog…

What do you want to ask the future you?

Do you have any regrets? Anything you would’ve done differently? Do you still have your snakebites?! I’m honestly curious when I’ll ever be able to say goodbye to those.

What do you want to have her remember?

The hard times she’s been through, the way she got out stronger. The challenges she took on, survived and made her life better. The importance of friends, family and a support system. And, of course, loads of amazing memories of times with those people.

Where do you think she’ll live?

With things looking how they are right now? I’m guessing not to far from where I’m living now, probably a bit closer to my boyfriend’s brother and his wife – although there’s always this secret hope I’ll end up living in London or close to London some day. A girl can dream.

What do you think she will miss the most?

Ha. Without a doubt being able to do whatever she feels like doing when she feels like doing it. Adulting, people. Sometimes it isn’t all that great! I miss being my impulsive self already; I can only imagine that being even more so in ten years.

What do you think she will be happy that she does not have any more that is present in your life?

Oh my lord. The insecurity of not owning the place she lives at, for sure. Apart from that, the biggest part of her family. Family on paper, not in her heart at all. They’re still present in my life somewhat right now, but that’s going to change and I just know that future me will think of that as a huge relief.

  1. Great answers! Ultimate goal in life is to have a secret vault to store the precious books. Just in case. Some one tries to steal them. It would be a comfortable vault though…. it would be called the bedroom. Sleep and reading …what more do we need? Food….riiiiiiight. Bedroom-kitchen-library?

  2. Very relatable answers 😂 I’d terribly miss doing what I want whenever I want it, and how I’d love to have my own house with a huge bookshelf and a room just for reading ❤ I hope things turn out the way you want 😀 !

    1. Haha, thank you! We’re going to start house-hunting soon so I’m already keeping in mind the extra room I’ll need for books. Like, sorry not sorry boyfriend, but we’ll have to buy a more expensive house because of that. :’)
