WWW: May 2nd

WWW Wednesday

How do I even start this… Like, you guys are used to me and the ridiculous amount of reading I get done every week and then… This week happened? I don’t even know how right now. I simply didn’t feel like reading at all. You’d think being off from work for two weeks motivates people to actually read more but… Apparently that’s not the case for me? I’ve been doing so many other things, anything but reading. So… Yeah…

On another note, some of you have noticed I’ve changed up my graphics! New banners all the way! New font, new everything! I’m pretty much in love with it so I hope you all like it as much as I do! Like, I’ve been productive, okay. Just not on reading-front…

Current read

The CallTower of Dawn (Throne of Glass, #6)

Finished reading

Let’s just leave this ridiculously blank and hope this isn’t as empty next week…

Reading next

Uhm, I think I should try actually finishing Tower of Dawn first, don’t you?

ARC overview

One Day in DecemberBrave EnoughThis Is Just My Face: Try Not to StareThe Adults
Twice Dead (The Necromancer's Song, #1)Cinderella BoyBeast: A Tale of Love and Revenge
The Trans Generation: How Trans Kids (and Their Parents) Are Creating a Gender RevolutionThe Unbinding of Mary ReadeThe Art of French KissingThe Raging Ones (The Raging Ones, #1)

Since it’s Moody May, I haven’t posted my May TBR as I usually do. Like, doh, it’s forbidden to have a TBR when you’re mood-reading! And I’m pretty on top of my ARC’s since the earliest release is in June – yay me! Right now I simply need to get my reading back on before I even think about my next read. Let’s hope Tower of Dawn pulls me out of this weird slump-ish thing I got going on!

If you could “steal” one of my eARC’s, which one would it be and why?

  1. I love Sarah J Maas, so I’m excited about Tower of Dawn. I hope it lives up to the hype! And I think we all have those months / weeks when we just don’t feel like reading 🙂

    1. Right now, I’m having some trouble getting into it, but that’s probably because I haven’t been in an actual reading mood lately. Can’t even think for a second it’s the book messing that up, ha.
True! It’s simply the first time it’s so.. extreme when it comes to my lack of reading. 🙂

  2. Oh it’s totally okay not to read – I’m exactly the same. I’m used to reading on my way to work and on lunch breaks, and when I’m on holidays, I also want to do other things and my reading sometimes takes a step back so you’re not alone 🙂
I love your new design and graphics!! 🙂

    1. Thanks, Marie. It’s honestly really weird to suddenly be all “meh” about reading when it’s usually the number one thing I want to be doing all the time, haha. Freaks me out a little bit but hey. Let’s just hope this one is glued to her books as soon as she has to work again!
[Talking about my self in third person is weird but somehow fitting this time..]
      Thank you! ❤

    2. YES I’m sure it will happen just like that, and sometimes it’s good to take a step back – I know even when I don’t read for a day, I’m feeling a new love for books when I pick one up again 😀

    1. Right?! I haven’t gotten the chance to read it yet, but I’m looking forward to it. I’m not really a historical fiction person, but I can still enjoy it once in a while. Pirates, on the other hand, those I live for, haha. 🙂

  3. It happens!!! No worries. Sometimes it’s good to take a break and do other things. It happens to me all the time. I love all your new graphics! I need to learn how to do nice things to my blog. haha!

    1. Thank you! It’s the first time it’s happened to me in this.. extreme way, haha. It feels weird.
Awh! Honestly, it took me a while to figure things out about how I wanted everything to look and make it all fit together. It’s an awful process if you aren’t that brilliant at it [as some others obviously are..] but you’ll be able to figure it out as well! If I can, you can! 😀

  4. Kathy I have a very important question for you: Is Tower of Dawn absolutely necessary to read the last one of this series? Or is it like a parallel novel?

    1. I would say yes! There’s some characters that are introduced that I think will be really important in the last novel. I think really important!
