Hi Munchworms!

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On A World of Words where you answer three fixed questions.

So this was an… eventful week so far? And it’s only Wednesday!
I became a mod over at Life & Lit, which is a Facebook-group owned by the awesome Destiny. [You should totally check it out if you’re interested in a whole lot of bookish talk and challenges!]
I also received the best eARC EVER – you’ll see. Just read on.

What are you currently reading?

Days of Blood & Starlight (Daughter of Smoke & Bone, #2)The Call
All the Little LightsStalking Jack the Ripper (Stalking Jack the Ripper, #1)Leah on the Offbeat (Creekwood, #2)

Okay, so I know this looks bad. It really does – but I can explain! Days of Blood and Starlight is simply stuck. The Call is pretty much stuck as well… Then I started reading All the Little Lights because I only had my Kindle with me at that time. When I got home I felt like picking up a physical book – because, as you can see below I only read eARC’s this last week… – so I picked up Stalking Jack the Ripper. But then yesterday happened and I randomly had my wish on NetGalley granted! So… I started reading Leah on the Offbeat immediately? Can I just say this book is perfection so far? Yes I can. It’s perfection so far.

What did you recently finish reading?

Alignment of ThoughtsSticks and StonesLove Connection
Rose's Boys (The Witch's Consorts #0.5)Consort of Thorns (The Witch's Consorts #2)

Eva Chase introduced me to reverse harem novels and I’m loving them so far! But, obviously I did not read what I planned on reading.. At all? Oops.

What are you reading next?

Apart from seriously having to clear my current reads… Friday is the author meet and I still haven’t read The Novice so I have to get on to that as well?

The Novice (Summoner, #1)

And this is how my eARC-TBR looks like right now:

Sometime After MidnightBrave EnoughThis Is Just My Face: Try Not to StareTwice Dead (The Necromancer's Song, #1)
The Unbinding of Mary ReadeThe Art of French KissingThe Adults

I wish we could just have random reading days to take off from work / school so we could make some progress on our reading goals but I guess we can’t have it all…

Have you heard of “reverse harem” before? Read anything in the genre? Have you read Simon vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda? Are you excited for Leah on the Offbeat?!

Yep

  1. Whoa. Check out these lists 😄
You need them to give you a whole reading week off! That would be the best gift in the world if I could get a day or more off of everything to catch up on reading 🤔😄

    1. Hahaha, right?!
I was complaining to my boyfriend earlier saying they should just close the whole company whenever the weather is as good as it’s been this week. That would’ve been a whole week of reading OUTSIDE! Can’t get much better than that, right?! :’)
