Hi Munchworms!
With April fast approaching, I figured it was time to share next month’s challenge with you guys. I’ve been talking about it for a bit now, but I’ve been genuinely looking forward to this challenge!
April, or ApTHRILL as I’ve named it, is all about those thrillers, suspenseful stories and even horror!
Those are all genres I rarely, if ever, pick up so it seemed like a perfect way to incorporate those into my reading. Of course I hope you’ll be joining me during that challenge!
Rules
◊ Post a blogpost / tweet / whatever saying you’ll be joining me in reading thrillers, horrors, suspense novels.
◊ Share your list of books and show us which ones you’re going to try and read.
◊ If you’re sharing your updates on social media, use #ApTHRILL so we can follow up on each other!
Important
It isn’t necessary to dedicate the whole month to my monthly challenges.
Our TBR’s are all through the roof so it can already be a challenge to read only one or two books that fit this month’s challenge.
You can still join then! The more the merrier!
Remember, it doesn’t matter how much you read. As long as you have fun reading.
And as long as we can tackle our TBR’s, bit by bit.
This is such a cool monthly challenge! I might have to join in! 💕

Hello there, new person here. Ooooo. I’m going this. I just recently got back into mystery/thriller/suspense novels so this will continue to encourage me. I’ll post soon what I want to read. 🙂

Ooh, hellohello! 😀
Whoop! The more, the merrier, right? 😀 Those genres are totally out of my regular comfort genres, but I’m quite liking it so far, haha.

Yayyy!!! This is pretty much what i’d be reading anyway ❤
I'm super excited. Next week i'm off and gonna be thinking about what books to match with this.

Awesome!! 😀 So fun to see completely different people join in on this one because the genre’s different than what I usually read, haha.
Have fun matching up books! I love doing that. 😛

You already know, but I am SO HERE for this! I have, I think, 2 or 3 creepy~ ARCs that I can use for the challenge, plus I’ve been dying to reread one of my fav horror anthologies, so I might fit that in. 😀

Yesyesyesssss! I’m doing King-books. And I think I have a thriller or two on my eARC’s but I’d have to check. 😛

I got a new horror ARC today that I’m honestly dying to read, but it doesn’t come out until September, so like… part of me knows I should save it until closer to time, but the other part of me is like, “BUT APTHRILL IS SUCH A GOOD EXCUSE TO READ IT!”

You should just read it! I read this one ARC like half a year before it came out and they used four words of my review ON THE COVER OF THE BOOK and my name is in there and like. IMAGINE IF THAT WOULD HAPPEN TO YOU.

THAT WOULD BE SO COOL! Omg. I would die, lmao. I think the furthest in advance I’ve ever read an ARC was… probably Dread Nation, which I read in October or November, and it comes out in a few weeks?

I totally freaked when I got that mail from the publisher! I was like YES. DO THAT. USE MY REVIEW. JUST DO IT. And then they even sent me a hardback copy to thank me for being able to use those four words? I was in HEAVEN.
They sent me another eARC after that but I still haven’t read it – shoot. I should do that.. :’)

So exciting!!! I think I’m going to join. I looove thrillers and mysteries so this will be perfect for me! I also have a few books in mind that I have been planning to read soon anyways. Also, if we watch thriller or horror movies, does that count as well? Could be fun to throw that into the month’s excitement. Wait for me TBR soon 😉

Awesoooome! Not my usual genre at all, but that’s why it makes it even more fun for me to have a month like this, haha.
Ooh, you can definitely add that personal spin to it for yourself! 😀 Have fun! 😀

Good luck with that monster of a book though, haha. I also own IT but I think I’m going to keep it for.. some other day. I might be afraid to pick up any of his other books if I start out with that one. :’)
Thank you! ❤
