Hi Munchworms!
Welcome to the first Top Ten Tuesday hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl! I’m wishing her all the luck hosting the TTT’s and of course a big thank you for keeping our favorite Tuesday-meme alive!
Now, her first theme is “Bookish resolutions / goals” and I think it’s safe to say we all have some of those, no?
My biggest goal right now is stick to my blog. If all goes right, 2018 will be my first full year of blogging so that’s definitely a huge milestone to achieve. Hand in hand with that goal is sticking to the TTT-, WoW- and WWW-memes all year long! No breaks, no missed weeks. I don’t know if that’ll work out but time will tell?
Of course I have a huge list of actual reading goals as well. I created my Books & Munches Reading Challenge to have everything in one place. I want to read 150 books in 2018, I want to join a lot of read-a-thons and I want to stick with my monthly reading challenges!
Apart from that, I also want to read as many of my owned TBR as possible – especially the books I owned prior January 1st 2018 – and get a grip on my book buying.
A bit more specific is reading all the unread books on my Stephen King-shelf and reread some series: Harry Potter, The Raven Cycle and A Song of Ice and Fire!
Most of all, though? I want to keep having fun. Fun reading, fun blogging, fun living.
Good luck with your goals! If you can stick to blogging a year I think you can stick to it forever. It becomes a part of your routine

It’s already such a huge part of my life; I can’t imagine not keeping it up but you never know what happens, haha. Thank you!

I love your resolutions! I’m definitely hoping to get some of my books read. I tend to get distracted by new shiny books and ignore the ones that are sitting on my shelf. Good luck!

Haha, I’m exactly the same but the Beat the Backlist challenge is really motivating me! That and my boyfriend says he’ll give me “something” if I can knock 75 books off my TBR [those that were on there on January 1st that is..] So, motivation, motivation! 😀

Good luck with your challenges!

What do I think, you ask? I think that you should read the Raven Cycle series because I want to know what you think of it hahaha, It was so good, I really loved it and the characters were amazing.
I also can’t believe that you haven’t been blogging for that long, every time you mention it it just amazes me, haha, I feel like you have been here for a while already. You’re just… doing so good and so settled in the bookish community, it’s SO great 😀
Best of luck for your goals!! 🙂

I already read them once! I liked them but.. didn’t really see why everybody’s all heart-eyes about the books which is why I’m “forced” to reread them, haha.
Guess I’m good at claiming my spot? Or something? I don’t know, haha. Sometimes people ask me for tips and I’m really just going with “I don’t even KNOW how I did it?!” but they never seem to believe me..
Thank you!! ❤

Excellent goals! I don’t re-read many books, but the HP series is one of the few that I can keep re-reading. That and The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy which is something I want to re-read this year.
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday, thanks!

Read all the unread books on your King shelf – great goal! Good luck with that! I want to reread THE STAND this year. It’s been a long time since I read it and it’s a great favorite of mine – probably my favorite King book.

Thank you! I’ll need it; especially if I want to tackle IT, haha. I don’t think The Stand is on my shelf; I’ll need to check it out! But maybe wait until I’ve read all the current ones…

Those goals are amazing! Good luck with them! One of my favorite readathons is starting on Saturday. I’m with you on reading more of the books that I own, for that there’s Beat The Backlist.

Oh, I take it it’s the Biannual Bibliothon? I was thinking about joining as well but I’ll be way too busy helping a friend move, haha. Good luck and have fun though! 😀

Yes, it is the biannual bibliothon. There are so many readathons sometimes it’s hard to keep up with them.

Great resolutions, Kathy! Sticking to blog schedule is definitely a challenge and I’ve failed to do miserably… haha! But I’m sure you can do it!
Hope you have a great reading year in 2018! Happy reading, girl! ❤

Thank you! Haha, I’m trying. I’m wondering how long I’ll keep the “posting daily”-thing up though. I never did that on purpose, it just happens.. Wondering how long it’ll last, haha.
You too, Noriko!! ❤

Ooooh, good list! Rereading HP is a *tentative* goal of mine for this year. I’d at least like to read the first few books in the illustrated formats.

I’ve read those last year, whooop! But it still feels like it’s been aaaages since I read all the other parts. Because it really has been ages, really.. I think it’s been at least five years.. It’s horrible..

I know I’ve read the first 2-3 books as recently as… I want to say 2014? But I haven’t read any of the other books since DH came out. I’ve never reread DH – it’s the only one in the series that I only read once! It hurt me too much. D:

That one’s soooo painful but I’m still convinced it’s worth going through the pain to just get back in that world!

Agreed! But damn… it’s gonna hurt so bad to reread it, haha!

Focus on the happiness and pride it’ll bring us as well in saying we’ve reread them alllll!
