I’ve been on the look-out for some read-a-thons this month and found two week-long ones that occur at the same time. Two birds, one stone?! So I decided to join them both since they don’t have any fixed challenges – except for reading a lot, that is.
JUMPSTART JANUARY
This read-a-thon is hosted by Kirstie @ Upside-Down Books and runs from January 8th until January 14th!
RULES
Have fun.
Read as much as you can in 7 days.
Read only books that work towards your annual goals.
Read books that are small or you know you can finish quickly.
Read deliciously trashy books that you might accidentally finish in one night.
Swap a book out for a different one if you’re not hooked by page 50.
Use #JumpstartReadathon whenever you’re sharing updates!

As said, I’m also joining Bout of Books, the second read-a-thon going on in the same period – from January 8th until January 14th.
Again, no particular challenges for this one which I’m totally digging right now. Especially since I’m still going to continue my TBR jar for January Jam Jar which makes it impossible to actually set goals or pick books to fit a certain prompt.

Thank you! Finished only one book so far, almost two! I’m getting less reading done than usual but it’s still going fine, haha. 😀

I didn’t know Bout of Books is having a readathon this week! I joined them once but never got my schedule to match up with the readathon schedule ever since. Oh well, hopefully next time I can do it alongside a lot of you guys 🙂

Ooh, that sucks! I always try to find as many readathons as I can so there are at least a couple that fit my schedule but sometimes I fail as well, haha.

It’s always such a pity that I have to work all day during those readathons but that makes it all the more fun to come home and use it as an excuse to just read [and kind of ignore any chores], haha.

Same! I tried reading last night but the boyfriend kept bugging me with stuff that needed to be done and he couldn’t do on his own for some reason, haha. Second attempt tonight!
