Hi Munchworms!
This week’s topic for The Broke and the Bookish‘s Top Ten Tuesday is “Winter TBR”.
Since I also posted my fall TBR a while back, let’s go back to that one first, huh!
This was my TBR back then, with the books I wanted to read before autumn was over.
Now let’s see which ones are left that I have yet to read…
I… didn’t do such a good job, did I?! Oops…
So, for my Winter TBR! As you guys know, I’ll be doing Diverse December next month. Since I’m also in the mood for fantasy lately, let’s make it a mix of diverse and fantasy!
So, any books on here that I need to read first?!
I’ll be reading The Name of the Wind starting on the 10th for a readalong on Litsy. It’s been on my TBR for several years now, so I saw the readalong as the perfect opportunity to finally tackle that doorstop 🙂

Ooh, have fun! I’m doing a readalong right now as well, although it’s for Heir of Fire by Sarah J. Maas.
And starting Wednesday, it’s time to focus on a readathon and read all the diverse reads I can. 😀

I adore A Darker Shade of Magic, Fan Girl, and Nevernight. It’s all a question of what you’re in the mood for–dark magic, cute romance, or revenge plot. 🙂

Mood reader-answer! 😀
During these dark and cold months, I’m often in the mood for romance, although dark books are great as well. We’ll see!

There are so many good books on this list. I loved Fangirl and A Darker Shade of Magic. I hope you get a chance to read all these!

I’ll definitely do my best, haha. 😀

I recently finished The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue, and I highly enjoyed it. Funny, heartwarming, and unique. I also enjoyed Fangirl…..it’s simply sweet and hopeful. I have When Dimple Met Rishi on my Winter TBR as well. I hope to start it this week sometime!

Those really are the three books that everyone keeps mentioning, haha. I think I might start off with The Gentleman’s Guide! It’s intrigued me a lot since it came out so I reckon it’s time to finally give in to temptation. 😀
Happy reading!

If there’s any I would say to wait on, it would be The Name of the Wind, but mostly because I plan on reading that in the first few months of 2018, so it would be fun to share the experience with others.
I have When Dimple Met Rishi and The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue on my TBR for Diverse December, and I keep hearing great things about both of them, so I’d put them high in the reading order.

Rothfuss’ books are such monsters of books that I might just use them for January. Or, at least, for my monthly challenge then, haha. We’ll see!
I think I might start with The Gentleman’s Guide! Although I want to finish the Daughter of Smoke & Bone trilogy first so I don’t end up with a mountain of sequels again.

Haha, yay. We could totally buddy read Rothfuss then. 😄

We shall see! If I don’t decide to pick up tons of other books first.. Which I tend to do all the freaking time, haha.

Oh, I know the feeling. But I’ll pester you about Rothfuss if you really procrastinate on reading it, lol. With a TV series on the way, this is something we need to read.

True! It won’t be long until I have a whole pack of people pestering me about buddy reads.. I really am going to start calling myself the Procrastination Queen of Buddy Reads soon..

Looking forward to them both! I’ve heard so much about them so far. Wish there were more reading hours in a day, haha.
Which would you recommend most of the two? 😀

Or not. Since I barely have any patience.
Good thing your box isn’t here yet.
Prepare to get a whole lot of whining and “let’s open it together NOW”-talk 😀

‘Dimple’ totally should have been on my list – especially as it’s been on my bookshelf since it released (and it sounds ADORABLE!). Also, that “Mary Poppins” books has one of THE most darling covers I’ve seen! SO cute.
Happy winter TBR-ing. 🙂

Haha, I know right! It’s been on my shelf for ages as well.. But then again, most of my unread books are.. or are getting towards the “for ages” very fast.
I think it’s one of the more cute covers that book is published in, really!
Thank you!! 🙂
