Hi Munchworms!
WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Taking On A World of Words where you answer three fixed questions.
What are you currently reading?
This hasn’t changed.. *sigh*
Nope, Kathy is simply picking up other books all the time..
What did you recently finish reading?
What are you reading next?
I NEED TO CLEAR MY CURRENTLY READING. STILL.
But I’ll probably be focusing on some of the eARC’s and author requests I have yet to get to… So these are my options:
So, what books did you get to read this past week?
Any suggestions of what I should pick up first out of the options I have?
In the past week I read two middle grade books: The Accidental Quarterback and The Impossible Pitcher, both by Charles Curtis. I’m also in the middle of reading The City of Brass by S.A. Chakraborty.

I’ve seen The City of Brass pop up all over Bookstagram this week! What are your thoughts on it so far?

I was hooked on page one. It is really interesting so far.

Well, if all goes well, I’ll have it up next week.

hahaha, six books you’re stuck in? hmm, maybe you should make a clean slate, or you will get into a reading slump, knowing that you need to read those books. take the pressure away and just pick them up another time! 🙂

Yup, was contemplating that already! Probably going to put at least two on my TBR again and just restart them someday. :’)

And those are only the books on my Kindle that I have yet to read.. :’D
I hope so! I haven’t felt like reading a lot lately so I’ll have some catching up to do..

Too many arcs.. Good luck. 🙂 Iive been planning to read Dracula but it seems too long.. 🙂

Only three actual ARC’s left – NetGalley-ones. All others are author requests but I’ve been postponing on those for ages now, haha.
I thought it was doable, until I opened the book and saw the tiny tiny font.. *sigh*

Lol.. I know what you mean.. I also have couple of author requests that I really need to get on with soon… I’m just in a serious slump these days.

I’m not in a slump exactly, but I’m getting more and more in a Christmas-mood which makes me want to read cozy, romantic Christmas novels..
Guess what’s NOT on my TBR at all.. :’D

I actually don’t have christmas novels on my TBR.. Any recommendations… And I pity those thriller novels on your tbr..they might wait for next year. 🙂

Pretty much everything that looks Christmas-sy is good enough for me, haha. Don’t really have specific recommendations since I tend to go with light fluffy romances and there’s plenty of those going around each year.
We’ll see how it goes! :p

Just gonna read your reviews then.. 🙂 🙂 Happy Reading..

One that I’ve reread a couple of times is The Charm Bracelet by Melissa Hill. I enjoy it every time; maybe it’s your cup of tea as well. 🙂 I think it’s the only physical Christmas-sy book I own, honestly..

Really? I prefer physical books… And Ill check this out..you have a review of this?

I don’t; it’s one I read before I started my blog so I never reviewed it. I do know that it reads pretty fluently.
Simply put a man’s mother lost her charm bracelet and knowing it means so much to her – her whole life is on that bracelet – he desperately tries to find it. In the meanwhile, a woman finds the bracelet and uses the charms to figure out who the bracelet’s from so she can return it. You follow both POV’s and their search for each other. Really loved it!

I have honestly been slacking lacking on my reviews… Lameness. If only there was a way that didn’t cost so much that they could write themselves!😁 I can be a lazy biatch at times with my reviews!😉📚💗

I had the good and awesome routine going of finishing a book and immediately writing my review but for some reason.. that’s gone? No clue where it ran off too..
Oh, and I have like three or four review-drafts as well.. Which I have to maybe set my mind to and actually finish them..
Yup, book blogging can be haaaard, haha!

Agreed! When I first was doing it! I loved it and had it under control and now I give a stink eye to a finished book thinking “you are going to have to review yourself”😒

Hahaha! If only that was possible. :’)
I got a bit more on top of my reviews yesterday but got distracted with other things – as usual. Going to give it another try after work today as well so fingers crossed. :’)

Fingers crossed for you!!!😁 I have been getting distracted away from reading. I’ve met so many cool people in here. I end up spending a lot of time talking to my followers rather than reading!😞

Haha, I know what you mean. I’m even going so far as turning on Flipd on my phone – which blocks me from using it – so I can just focus on reading and not be on social media all the time. :’D
Pretty funny how I went from barely talking to people online to now doing it all the time. :’D

I wanted an app that blocked everything except for calls and stumbled upon it. I set it for half an hour every time, which pretty much equals reading sprints of half an hour, haha.

Just take your time doing what you feel like doing! Reading shouldn’t feel like an obligation anyway. 🙂
