Hi Munchworms!
I’m trying not to post twice a day, but this week it’s failing miserably. I simply have some updates, questions and extra news that I wanted needed had to share, so…
Anyway, let’s get cracking!
UPDATES
First off, let’s start with a reading update. I posted my fall TBR for Top Ten Tuesday a while back and I wanted to see how much progress I’ve made. Especially since I’ve been mood-reading like a crazy person and didn’t even remember what was on that list?

As far as reading goes, my second update is.. that.. I’m doing a kick-ass job at OWNtober! I’ve read so many books this month. I’m honestly proud of myself and it gives me that extra motivation to jump in Remember November already! Are you joining? I just realize that it might be a good idea to make my TBR for that one…
Apart from that, I’m also focusing on The House Cup Reading Challenge. I honestly had to do a bit of puzzling so the sequence of the books I’ll be reading fits my own monthly challenges, but I’m ready!
Also, if you want to join, you have to publish your blog post tomorrow at the latest!
My third update is simply to mention that I might participate in Zoe’s 24 Hour Readathon! I’m not sure yet since life has been getting in the way this week, but I might.
The last “update”, isn’t really an update but more of a reminder. You can still fill in the form to join the Christmas Cards Exchange until October 31st! Check out the original post for all the info and the form.
If you don’t really want to join in, you can also simply spread the news and maybe make some people happy that way!
As soon as I’ve matched all participants to one another, I’ll be sending out the emails to notify each and every one of you who you get to send your cards to – and probably add some more guidelines / info as well.
OPINIONS NEEDED
It occurred to me a time ago, while writing a review, that I often have to postpone posting my reviews because of the munches. I always make sure that I get a picture of the munches I mention by creating the dish myself or going out and have it somewhere else.
And it got me thinking. Not because I want to get more lazy when it comes to my munches, but more because of the procrastinating.. Do you guys enjoy the fact that I use my own pictures or wouldn’t it even matter where I got the pictures from?
I’m just wondering since it might come in handy sometimes to be able to post certain reviews sooner rather than later.. So comment and let me know what you think!
THE FUTURE
Oh, this is a fun one, isn’t it? Or are you guys half-expecting me to say “well, it’s time for a hiatus!”? Because that’s definitely not happening here!
What is happening, however, is my followers count slowly creeping towards that magical five hundred-mark. And that milestone is definitely one to be celebrated! I mentioned it in my previous giveaway and who am I not to keep my promise?
So, keep your eyes on my blog because when I reach that magical 500, there’s a new giveaway coming your way! If you have any ideas / requests instead of simply getting a book, spill the beans!
I’m also waiting for Chelscey Clayton’s second installment of The Monster of Selkirk to be published. I’ll be getting a second signed copy of the first installment as well and I’ll be using that for a second giveaway sometime!

I think.. That’s it? I’ve been staring at my screen for fifteen minutes now, but I’m pretty sure that I mentioned it all. If not.. Well, too bad for me!

Yes, I like seeing your munches photos, but I can understand just grabbing a photo off the internet to use if you just want to get the book review posted.

Yeah, I know what you mean! It’s why I like doing them, but sometimes it’s such a hassle to get a picture of a certain something on time.. Or I keep postponing it and with it the publishing of my review and.. Ugh. Maybe, like Jackie suggested, I should just do a mix and make it a little bit easier on myself that way. :’)

Wow, look at you doing all these challenges and kicking ass!!! I am participating in Zoe’s 24h readathon right now and so far so good! I just woke up so I’ll continue reading in just a second XD Good luck with reaching 500 followers! I’m sure you’ll get there in no time ❤ and I really don't mind which pictures you use of your munches! I always think it's nice when I (or another blogger) uses pictures they've taken themselves, but sometimes that's just not possible! Maybe you could do a mix of both? ☺️

Haha, thank you! I decided not to participate after all. I was simply beat when I got home – it’s been a pretty long and hard week – and I couldn’t even get myself to get out of bed until.. well, half an hour ago and it’s now 12.30 pm. :’) Oops..
