Update: Popsugar Reading Challenge 2017

1

Hi Munchworms!

One of my first ever blog posts consisted of all the prompts I have to tick off during the Popsugar Reading Challenge – which consists of 40 “normal” prompts and 12 “advanced” prompts.

As you could see back then – you can go to my original post here – I still had a decent amount of books to read and tick off! Since we’re nearing the end of 2017 pretty quickly and I’ve read a fair amount of books lately, I decided to see how many books I still have to read. This means I only have 4 more prompts to tick off! Pretty sure I can manage that by the end of the year, haha. And it’s not like I haven’t read more books than just these since I’ve reached my Goodreads goal a while back.

I’ve also been busy creating my own Books & Munches Challenge for 2018, so I’ll have to wait and see whether or not I’m doing the Popsugar Reading Challenge next year as well.

Are you already thinking of your reading goals for 2018?
What have you come up with so far?
Maybe it’ll give me some extra inspiration, haha.

  1. Wow, you are doing fantastic with this reading challenge! Good luck with the final four prompts.

I’m starting to think a little about reading challenges for 2018, namely that I’ll once again participate in the Goodreads Reading Challenge. I always start my goal at 75 books, but will typically change it two or three times by the end of the year. But I may look into joining another type of reading challenge, like Popsugar or something similar. Maybe. I still have a few months to figure it out.

    1. Thank you!

I’ve also been thinking about that. I actually got a draft with a whole bunch of ideas for my own huge Books & Munches Reading Challenge 2018; which has multiple parts. I have no clue when I’ll be happy with it [read: when it’ll be complete], but feel free to use it as your own inspiration as well, haha!
I did enjoy the Popsugar Reading Challenge a lot though. Mainly because it got me reading books that I normally wouldn’t pick up and that’s always a bonus.

  2. Wow, you’ve done so well on this! I’ve been failing pretty much every single one of my reading challenges this year. XD Daughter of Smoke and Bone is really good, so I hope you enjoy that! I’ve had the First Fifteen Lives of Harry August on my TBR for so long; it’s shameful!

    1. Oooh! Bad! Time to pick them back up then, haha. You have a little over three months left! xD
I started The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August a while back, but somehow ended up reading something else; and something else after that, and after that, and after that.. And now it’s stuck on my “Currently reading”.. Oops.

    1. I just made an initial list with a book for each prompt and ended up changing it completely along the way, haha. Still not sure if I’ll be doing it next year as well or not, but I have some time left to think that over. 😀
