TGIF: Celebrating time!

Hi Munchworms!

Another week of work has passed, or almost passed. Just a few more hours (4) to go before I can sit back and relax for a couple of days! So, thank God it’s Friday!

I’ve been on a reading spree without end it seems, since I’ve been picking up one book after the other. Don’t ask me how, but it seems as if I’m becoming an even bigger bookworm than I already was? How is that even possible?!
I also had a few ARC’s approved that I requested on NetGalley, so I’ll be diving into those first. I’ll try my best to keep the reviews coming your way though!

As for my own life… Well, there’s this sort of festival starting today in the city I live in that lasts ten days. Ten. Days. I’m starting to doubt whether or not I’ll be having enough sleep for the following ten days. Let alone reading time?! I’ll just have to force it. Nobody takes away my books! Not even for awesome parties, ha.
Seriously, I like my books more than I like people. Especially drunk people. Meh.

Anyway, the main reason for my post today is to thank all you wonderful followers. I started Books & Munches on June 13th, which was exactly one month ago yesterday.
I never set any goals when it came to followers; not here, not on Twitter, not on Instagram. Yet, somehow… Don’t ask me how… I’ve succeeded at reaching over 100 followers?!
Is it me or is that simply amazing? No, it’s not me. It really just is A-MA-ZING.
I never thought I’d be able to reach this many people – certainly not in 30 days! It’s crazy!
But I did it, and for that, I want to thank each and every one of you because – cliche! – I couldn’t have done it without you guys. Ha.

I might’ve started this blog pure out of passion for books, for reading, but it’s so much more fun than I ever anticipated. For one simple reason. I get to share it with you, talk about books with all of you and that makes it even more special.
[Even though it’s freaking frustrating that my TBR on Goodreads is multiplying as we speak.]

Anyhow, I’m going to celebrate this with eating a cupcake this weekend. Don’t know yet if I’ll be making them myself or be lazy and go buy one. But this is definitely getting celebrated one way or another!
And maybe a cocktail.
