The questions Naty gave me:

1. Which book made you happy while reading it?

This is immediately a tough one to start with! Simply because the reading itself already makes me happy as it is. But if I do have to pick a book, I’d go with Furiously Happy: A Funny Book About Horrible ThingsThis book made me laugh so hard at times.

2. What is your favorite thing to do for relaxing?

Ha, reading! No extra explanation needed for this one. Just me, my books and my armchair equals one happy Kathy.

3. What is your favorite season?

Winter. Not the snowy winters, but just the regular cold one in which you can curl up on the couch with a mug of hot chocolate to warm yourself. Eat fresh, homemade soup everyday. And if it has to snow, preferably when I’m inside so I can watch the flakes fly by, haha. I hate going out in the snow…

4. What is something you love about yourself?

My perseverance. When I want to do something, achieve something, I’m stubborn and will do anything in my power to actually get there. It has helped me a great deal during my life, at times where others were backing out and I just kept going.

5. What keeps you blogging?

The passion I have for books, reading and wanting to share all that with as many people as possible. Having and taking the opportunity to share books with all of you. Books that you might never pick up if you don’t hear of them through some sort of channel.

6. What is a song that makes you happy?

Crazy Little Thing Called Love from Queen. Just the tune of it makes me happy already, even just thinking about it!

7. What is your dream vacation?

Hm. I’d really like to go on a trip through America one day. Maybe even for months. Just travelling from once city to the other, exploring, doing whatever I want. Having the opportunity to see bands perform that rarely come to Europe. And – seriously important! – browsing as many bookstores as I can!

8. Which fictional character would you like to be friends with?

Oh boy. There are so many. Jace, Simon, Will, Julian? Jem! And.. And.. Kaz! Iko! Too many options…

9. What is a book you recommend for someone going on vacation?

I’m a goner for romantic, easy-reading novels when I’m on vacation. So all books of Katie Fforde would probably be good. Or one I read last week, Married in Montana by Jane Porter. Otherwise, I’d just say: take one or two giant books with you instead of a ton of thinner ones. [Try and save place so you can buy more books wherever you are.]

10. Coffee, tea or wine or other?

I’m addicted to Monster. Seriously. There are so many flavors as well! Coffee is something I’ve never liked in my life, up until three months ago. Work finally got to me, I was tired as hell and out of Monster – yes, that happened and I was horrified – so I caved and grabbed a coffee. With an overload of milk, haha.

11. Favorite pizza toppings?

Two ways to go here. Back when I was still able to handle greasy food, I’d have a pizza with kebab, bell peppers, mushrooms and a load of garlic sauce. Recently I’ve been picking Hawaii more and more though.
My god, I feel like eating pizza now… And I didn’t make plans on what to eat tonight yet. Score!

Questions:

If you could listen to only one song the rest of your life, which one would it be?

What’s your weirdest habit when it comes to reading?

How many physical books do you have on your TBR-pile?

What object is laying on your right?

If you could be in a Disney movie, which one would it be?

You get a gift card for a tattoo shop; what would you get?

What’s your favorite dish ever?

How long have you been blogging for?

What is the most beautiful bookstore you’ve ever seen?

Is there a movie that makes you cry every time you watch it? Which one?

If you could change one thing in your life, what would it be?

Hope you guys have as much fun with these questions as I did!

Kathy

  1. Okay, WordPress and I had a vicious fight yesterday about letting me comment on this, and apparently, WordPress was victorious because I don’t see my comment. XD I probably went to spam. Anyway, here, is me, trying again. XD It was super fun to read your answers, and can I be friends with them, too?? Iko, Kaz, and Will would literally be the oddest and best friend group ever, but it would be so ridiculously fun. ❤ Wonderful post, and thanks so much for tagging me. ❤

    1. I’ve had that fight with WordPress as well lately.. It’s so annoying! Especially when you practically write a whole story to answer on someone’s post and it just.. poofs.. *slaps WordPress*
Yush! I love odd people and that group would fit me perfectly, haha.
      You’re welcome!

  2. You don’t like going out in snow? Whuuuut? 😀 But.. but… it’s so much fun! 😀

I agree with the trip to America though… I’d love to go… I’ve seen so many amazong nature pics from the States I can’t believe they’re real. Also- spending a couple of weeks in Alaska with bush people would be cool 😀

Great answers and congrats for getting tagged! 😉

    1. Haha, my history of being clumsy doesn’t help in the snow. Each year that I have to go out in that weather, I have to fall at least once and it’s always so painful. Once my hip had all colors for about three weeks, haha. Makes me reluctant to go out when it snowed nowadays. :p

Yup, true! I just feel like I have to have been there at least once – and not just for a couple of days either.

      Thanks! 🙂

  3. Cool answers! 😀😀 I really want to read Furiously Happy, I hear such good things about this book. And your tip for holiday reading is spot on – I’ve made the mistake of taking a bunch of small books a lot of times…

    1. It isn’t a book I’d normally read, at all. But if you see the cover and then the title.. It just makes your curious about the content, haha. You should definitely read it some day!
Yup, same here. Lately I’ve tried only taking one thin book cause I just know that I’ll have bought at least three by the end of the first day of our holiday, haha. [And since I have a Kindle now, I’m even more safe. I hope.]

    2. I am quite curious about it because I heard it discusses mental illness AND it’s funny… I’ve never read a book like that! I’m glad you recommend it, I’ll try to get it soon.

Yes, Kindle saves lives! Think I convinced half my family to get one 😂

    3. Yup. The Author, Jenny Lawson, suffers a whole bunch of mental illnesses. The book is actually a whole collection of situations she’s been in, told from her point of view. There’s some pretty hilarious stuff there, also some confronting things and sometimes you’re laughing with things and then thinking “okay, maybe I shouldn’t be laughing with this.” But that’s what makes the book so awesome!

My mom just bought one herself as well. “Oh, so if I take that subscription I can read as much as I want? And so many options?! Why didn’t you tell me sooner?!” Because you wouldn’t listen.. Haha.

  4. My favourite season is winter aswell, although I love the cold winters and snuggling up with a book, I also love when it snows for first time, I’m like a big kid making snow men, (not that they work but I try) snow angels and going sledging then after a nice hot chocolate to warm up 🙂
